The 3 o'clock Prayer

Three o'clock in the afternoon (3:00 PM) is the moment our loving and merciful Jesus died on the cross to redeem us. 3 o'clock is the hour of great mercy for the world.

In this hour, I will refuse nothing to the soul that makes a request of Me in virtue of My Passion...
--- St. Faustina Diary, 1320

Every time the clock strikes the third afternoon (3 o'clock), let us make it a daily habit to pause for a while, put ourselves in a moment of silence and pray to Jesus:

THE 3 O'CLOCK PRAYER

To begin, make the sign of the cross.

You expired, Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls, and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelope the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus, as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in You.

And then, repeat for three (3) times:

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and the whole world.

To conclude, express your trust in Jesus by saying:

AMEN.

JESUS, King of Mercy, I trust in You.

And finally, make the sign of the cross to end the prayer.

LET US ALL MAKE THIS A DAILY HABIT.
